Professional Visitor programme at INWETEX-CIS TRAVEL MARKET 2013

JSC Saint-Petersburg Express (RESTEC® Group), jointly with the Russian Union of Travel Industry, North-West Division Office with the support of the St. Petersburg Committee on Tourism Development, invites tourism industry professionals to participate in the “Professional Visitor” project, which will take place as part of the INWETEX-CIS TRAVEL MARKET exhibition from 10 to 13 October, 2013. INWETEX-CIS TRAVEL MARKET is a large international forum that has been gathering tourism business professionals on the banks of the Neva for more than twenty years already.

Thirty representatives from regional tourist agencies will be invited to St. Petersburg during the exhibition. The participants in the project will learn about the tourism potential of the northern capital and regions in the North-West in general, potential for organising outbound travel with flights departing from St. Petersburg and the programme “Stop in St. Petersburg”.

The professional visitors will have access to the exhibition’s open working space, with fully equipped workstations, where they can establish and strengthen business ties, and also take part in the IV St. Petersburg Hotel Forum, the international forum ‘Tourism. Resorts. Health.’, MICE conferences, meetings and negotiations with leading foreign tourism operators and also representatives from St. Petersburg hospitality companies and organisations.

The participants in the project will be offered an evening programme, which will introduce them to the recreational and shopping complexes, museums, theatres and other items of interest in the Venice of the North. The programme also includes a visit to the Gatchina Palace and Estate Museum and a specialised seminar will introduce them to the tourist potential of other cities and districts in Leningrad region.
